Why do we have (or not have) slime hands?

Why do we have (or not have) slime hands?

why can some people touch, what would usually be the stickiest slime in the world, and they would hardly any of it stick to them? Or why can someone touch the most basic of slimes and instantly their hands are practically made of it? Why, oh, why, oh why?

Well slime sticks to some things like fabric and wood because of all of the little holes, spaces, creases, and crevices in the materials, but why does it stick to your hand so incredibly well?

just like other materials, your hands have hundreds of little crevices, but what it has that other materials don’t, is body heat! the heat makes the slime melt slightly, which makes it much easier for the slime to get stuck to your skin.

However theres also a factor of bacteria and how clean your hands are. So if your hand are dirty and covered in filth then the slime might stick to you hands better. (It'll also make your slime dirty, so its a win win to wash your hands before playing with it)

of course it also depends wildly on the composition of the slime, and how much activator it has, and if you have a genetic condition of "spongy hands", but the main, points are:

  • body heat of the hands
  • cleanliness of the hands
